Challenge yourself with perspective and learn to mix vibrant, unexpected color combinations. Or you can work from a photo of your choice. This workshop is geared toward the oil painter, but all media and all levels are welcome.
If you are a true beginner, supplies can be provided to you for a small additional fee of $25 paid directly to the instructor. The work you do in this class is meant to be a learning tool for your future reference. Allow yourself to experiment. Make mistakes. Tackle things you usually avoid. Ask questions. You can count on demos, discussions, and lots of personal attention in a fun and relaxed setting.

The 2025 Spring Show SILENT AUCTION raised over $3700 to benefit the LAA's Penny Day Thompson Art in Education Grants!
